Don’t Think, Lose Weight

A newsletter I received has an article titled “Almonds Have Fewer Calories than Thought.” I’m intrigued. I didn’t know thought has calories. But on second thought, they do cause increase in weight and fat – especially belly fat. Thinking, well negative and stressful thinking, can release cortisol. There are potential links between cortisol and obesity and between stress, cortisol, and appetite. I even found an article that says that “researchers found the stress of thinking caused overeating with heavy thinkers seeking out more calories.”
Not sure what to suggest here. I can suggest some essential oils to calm the negative stressful thinking – frankincense, neroli, elemi and mandarin petitgrain would top the list. Other than that, just stop thinking, and have an almond.
